ELA Teacher (K-2)
The ELA teacher will be responsible for creating a culture reflective of our mission and nurturing students reflective of our graduate aims (self-directed learners, powerful communicators, effective collaborators, compassionate changemakers). Working at KIPP St. Louis High School, you love literature and composition and are excited to fuel a passion for reading and writing in your students. Every day you open new worlds for your students, teaching them to think critically, to analyze what they read, and to read between the lines to understand the author’s intent. You help students find their voices in the classroom and the world.

Middle School ELA Teacher
Under the direction of the Principal, the Middle School English Teacher will lead the instruction and training of scholars in his or her classroom and/or assigned grade level(s). The Middle School English Teacher will work closely with scholars, parents, and school administration to ensure that academic success and character development are achieved by all scholars in the classroom.

High School ELA Teacher
We are looking to hire an English instructor with a proven track record of instructing students from middle school through high school in English. Teaching reading, writing, and speaking abilities will fall within the purview of the English instructor.
